Sharjah Literature Festival

The first inaugural Sharjah Literature Festival, a joint collaboration between the Emirates Publishers Association and the Sharjah Book Authority,

will be held from January 17–21, 2025, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah,

and the guidance & support of Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority and Honorary President of the Emirates Publishers Association.

This unique cultural event highlights the richness of Emirati literature by bringing together authors, publishers, and book enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. The festival serves as a platform to celebrate contemporary Emirati creativity, facilitate cultural exchange, and engage audiences in meaningful literary discussions. Through its diverse activities, the festival aims to foster a deeper appreciation for the literary arts in the UAE and beyond.
